Good governance is part of good support.
Trust isn't built by simply having policies. It's built by being clear about our responsibilities, protecting people's rights, listening when something isn't right and being accountable for the way we work.
At Kupa, we are committed to operating with integrity, transparency and accountability. Our governance framework supports the safety, rights, privacy and wellbeing of the people we support and helps us continually strengthen the quality of our services.
We've made some of our key policies, guides and governance information available here so you can easily understand your rights, our responsibilities and what you can expect from Kupa.

Tell us what we're doing well, where we can improve or if you have a concern about your support. You can make a complaint without fear that it will negatively affect the services you receive from Kupa.

Accessibility
Information should be accessible to everyone.
We are committed to making our services, information and digital experiences as accessible and inclusive as possible. If you need information in another format or require assistance accessing something on our website, please contact us.

More Than Documents
Policies matter, but what matters even more is how they are lived every day.
We want the people we support, their families, our team and our community to feel confident asking questions, challenging decisions, providing feedback and holding us accountable.
If something isn't clear, ask us.
We are always ready to explain anything in plain language or talk through any part of your support plan.
If something doesn't feel right, tell us.
Your safety and comfort are our highest priority. We will listen respectfully and take immediate action.
If we can do something better, we want to know.
Continuous improvement is built into our daily culture. Your feedback makes our services stronger.
Have a concern or want to give feedback?
We're listening. Your feedback is confidential, respected and helps us improve.

Each participant has the right to respect, personal dignity, and freedom from discrimination, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Kupa upholds the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and the Australian Human Rights Commission principles across every service interaction.
Participants are supported to maintain their personal relationships, cultural ties, and community connections without impediment.
2 2. Choice, Control & Self-Determination
Participants have full sovereignty over their support plans, delivery schedules, choice of support workers, and personal goals.
Support planning is conducted collaboratively, centering the participant and their appointed nominees, families, or advocates.
Participants have the right to request a change of support worker or adjust support routines at any time without fear of penalty.

Making a complaint will never change the care and support you receive from us.
1 1. Purpose of the Service Agreement
The Service Agreement establishes a clear, mutual understanding of the supports to be delivered, the funding categories utilized, and the expected standards of service.
It ensures transparent communication between Kupa, the participant, and their plan manager or support coordinator.
2 2. Support Schedule & Costing
All supports are priced strictly within the limits set out by the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
Kupa does not charge above the NDIS cap, and all item numbers are itemized transparently in monthly invoices or NDIS portal claims.
3 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel a shift, please provide as much notice as possible so we can notify your support worker.
Kupa adheres to the NDIS Short Notice Cancellation rules (currently 7 clear business days), but works compassionately with participants facing unforeseen emergencies.
4 4. Changes & Ending the Agreement
Either party may terminate or request variations to the Service Agreement with 14 days written notice, or immediately if safety concerns arise.
Any agreed variation must be signed or confirmed in writing by both parties.
